For as long as my husband and I have had the kids, we’ve traveled with bulky car seats and boosters wherever we go. I mean everywhere! We brought a car seat and two boosters to Hawai’I, Nevada, and even to the Philippines! Can you imagine checking those in, along with your luggage and balikbayan boxes? As a parent of 4 little kids aging from 11 years  to 21 months old, I haven’t been this excited about an item I saw in a magazine in a long time!  It’s portable, foldable and small. My father reminds me of Charles Barkley, the retired basketball player. A few other people have remarked on the resemblance, as well. There is one thing I notice that reminds me 100% of the time of Filipinos. If I’m driving by a house and they have certain vegetables growing in their front yard, my brain quicklyRead More →

Have you read the Vanity Fair article in the January 2017 issue on American actor Chris Pratt? He was the cover story and discussed the crucial events that lead him to where he is today. Pratt discussed how he was living on a beach in Maui, Hawaii. He was barely 20, living with friends in a van and tent, basically broke and miserable. One day, he was outside a grocery store waiting for a person to buy beer for him and his friends. However, an Asian guy in his 40s, a stranger at the time named Henry, came up and asked if he was goingRead More →
